what you get

Recharge is a guided practice app. It gives you short guided audio sessions, an optional pause on apps you choose yourself, and a record of your own screen time over time. A subscription unlocks the app for as long as it is active.

We may add, change, or retire features. If we ever remove something central to what you paid for, you can cancel and ask for a refund under our refund policy.

lifetime access

A lifetime purchase gives you access to Recharge for as long as Recharge exists. It is a one-time payment. Nothing recurring, nothing to cancel.

Being straight with you about what lifetime can honestly mean from a one-person company: it means the life of the product, not a promise that it will run forever. If Recharge is ever discontinued, you will get at least 60 days notice by email. And if that happens within five years of your purchase, the unused portion of those five years is refunded, worked out month by month.

After five years, access continues for as long as the product does, with no further refund owed.

Read this part properly. Recharge is a self-help and wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device, not therapy, and not a diagnosis. Anything the app shows you about your attention or your habits is built from your own answers and your own screen time, and is meant for reflection only.

Nothing here treats, cures, or prevents any condition. If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You are charged at the start of each period. The price and the renewal period are shown to you before you pay, and they are repeated on your receipt.

Where you bought it matters. There are two separate routes and they are handled by different companies:

• Bought on this site. Your payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who act as the merchant of record and appear on your bank statement. You manage or cancel that subscription through the link on your receipt, or by emailing us.
• Bought inside the app. Apple processes the payment and it is billed to your Apple Account. You manage or cancel it in your iPhone settings, under your Apple Account, in Subscriptions. We cannot cancel or refund an Apple subscription for you.

Cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not cut your access short. You keep what you paid for until the end of the period you already bought.

We may change prices. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to a renewal.

your account and use

Your subscription is for you. Do not share, resell, or sublicense access. Do not try to break, reverse engineer, or scrape the app or the site. Do not use them to do anything unlawful.

You must be at least 13 to use Recharge. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms with you.

We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken. If we do that without good reason, you get a refund for the unused part.

what belongs to whom

The app, the site, the audio, the writing, and the designs belong to Veritas Experience LLC. Your subscription is a licence to use them, not a transfer of ownership.

Anything you write in the app, like journal entries, is yours. Most of it never leaves your device. What does leave is described in the privacy policy.

screen time and permissions

If you turn on the pause feature, the app uses Apple's Screen Time permissions to shield apps that you pick yourself. That happens entirely on your device. Your screen time and app usage never leave your phone and are never sent to us.

the honest limits

We built this carefully and we use it ourselves, but we cannot promise a specific result. Your screen time, your focus, and your habits depend mostly on you. The app is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error free.

To the extent the law allows, Veritas Experience LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow those limits, in which case they do not apply to you.

changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what you are paying for, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have where you live.
