refund policy
last updated: 5 August 2026
Changed your mind in the first 14 days? Write to us and we will refund you. After that we do not refund time you have already had, but you can cancel whenever you like and you will not be charged again.
bought through this site
Email support@rechargetime.app within 14 days of your first charge and tell us you want a refund. You do not have to justify it and we will not put you through a retention pitch.
Refunds are usually issued within two business days. Your bank then takes its own time, normally five to ten days, to show it.
Payments made on this site are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our merchant of record. Paddle appears on your statement and issues the refund. You can also contact Paddle directly using the link on your receipt.
Wherever you live, whatever statutory cancellation or withdrawal right applies to you applies on top of this policy and is not reduced by it. Paddle applies those rights automatically, and where they are longer or more generous than what is written here, they win.
renewals
Recharge renews until you cancel. Before every renewal we email you first, so a charge should never be the way you find out you are still subscribed. For the yearly plan that notice goes out between 15 and 45 days ahead.
We do not refund a renewal period you have used. But if you were charged for a renewal you did not expect and you have not used Recharge in that new period, write to us and we will refund it. We would rather return the money than keep it from someone who did not mean to spend it.
bought inside the app
This is the part most companies bury, so here it is up front. If you subscribed inside the iPhone app, Apple took the payment and Apple owns the refund. We cannot issue it for you. That is Apple's rule for every app on the App Store, not a choice we made.
Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with your Apple Account. Apple decides these case by case.
If Apple turns you down and you genuinely feel the app did not do what we said it would, write to us anyway. We will do what we can.
cancelling
Cancelling and refunding are different things. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Bought on this site: use the manage link on your receipt, or email us and we will do it.
- Bought in the app: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Recharge, then Cancel.
the one limit
We will decline a refund where there is evidence of fraud or of the policy being worked rather than used. In practice that means repeatedly buying and refunding, or refunding a period you have plainly used throughout. Paddle applies the same rule as merchant of record.
This exists so we can keep saying yes quickly to everyone else. If you are reading it and worrying, it is not about you.
